Are you an experienced Civil Construction project manager / Estimator with a back-ground in Council infrastructure works? Blue Peak Constructions is delighted to announce a new and challenging position for someone like you! Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our projects with local councils in Melbourne, focusing on the Melbourne South-East region.
Blue Peak Constructions is a leading construction company specializing in a variety of projects, including Road Reconstructions, Streetscapes, Roundabouts, LATMs (Local Area Traffic Management), Drainage, and more. Position: Civil Construction Project Manager / Project Engineer / Estimator
Responsibilities:
- Estimating, tendering, quoting and project programming and delivery
- Provide outstanding client service and utilise your high-level communication and negotiation skills to foster the client relationship
- Manage projects up to $2 million
- Contract administration and claims
- Request TMP’s and PMP’s and Ensure OH&S, quality and Environmental policy is being implemented on all sites
- Pre-planning of projects including materials ordering, resource allocation and liaising with Sub-contractors
- Oversee maintenance of machinery, trucks and equipment
- Work with foreman and leading hands on day to day project requirements and queries
- Approve all invoices, expenses and subcontractor claims
Qualifications:
- Hardworking, thorough and reliable
- Self-motivated with a Can-do attitude
- A Problem Solver with great ‘outside the box’ thinking
- Have high-level communication and negotiation skills
- Have previous experience with council projects
- Have hands-on experience in civil construction
- Possess strong Management and Leadership qualities
