Initially joined Advanced Geomechanics, which was then acquired by Fugro in Nov 2013.
1. Geotechnical consultancy, with particular focus on the offshore oil & gas and offshore wind industry;
2. Expertise on the calcareous seabeds, which dominate around Australia;
3. Involved in many world-class offshore projects on LNG development in Australia, such as Wheatstone, Prelude, Ichthys, Gorgon, Crux, Scarborough, etc.;
4. Involved in oil and gas and offshore wind development in different countries, such as US, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Korea, etc.;
5. Still being involved in the Independent review and analysis of several reclamation and ground improvement works in Zhuhai- Hong Kong – Macau Bridge project. -

As a secondment from Fugro AG to Fugro Hong Kong, I have been involved in different kinds of onshore and nearshore geotechnical projects in Hong Kong and Asian regions, including:
1. Site investigation and engineering assessment for the reclamation work in Israel Port;
2. Independent review and analysis of several reclamation and ground improvement works in Zhuhai- Hong Kong – Macau Bridge project;
3. Independent review of the reclamation and ground improvement works in Tung Chung reclamation project;
4. Some excavation works in HK and Macau, , etc.One of my roles is to transfer knowledge, build-up links between Fugro Hong Kong and Fugro AG in Perth (formerly Advanced Geomechanics), promote Fugro AG\’s technical advantage and worldwide reputation in offshore geotechnical engineering, and add value to the clients from Hong Kong.

Projects include stability of shallow foundation (mudmat, spudcan), assessment of suction caisson capacity and penetration, deep foundation (pile), pipeline-soil interaction, trenching, cyclic loading, etc. PLAXIS and Abaqus are the main tools for numerical analysis;
2. Clients include BP, TOTAL, Technip, Encana, Statoil, Horizon, etc.;
3. Involved in SAFEBUCK Joint Industry Project (JIP) on pipe-soil interaction;
4. Development of a software package for spudcan penetration. -
