    Business Analyst (Digital Transformation Analyst)

    1. Digital Transformation Strategic Program
    The objective of the Pertamina Digital Transformation Strategic Program was to build Pertamina Digital Transformation Roadmap and Strategy. We used the Business Architecture perspective to find digital initiatives and business requirements collaborating with business users.
    The roadmap consisted of digital initiative projects covering all Pertamina business sectors from upstream to downstream. After Pertamina implemented digital transformation projects for four years, we generated a value of more than 350 million USD in 2021.

    2. Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Project
    The Predictive Maintenance Project is one of the Digital Transformation projects in Pertamina for asset maintenance use cases. As a project manager and business analyst, I ran the project from an Information Technology perspective piloted in one of the Pertamina refinery units in West Java with a budget of 1 million USD. I managed this project with a waterfall approach. This solution used commercial off-the-shelf software.
    I produced Feasibility Study Document and Business Case in the initiation and planning phase. Then I delivered Solution Requirement and Solution Performance Analysis to measure the solution performance. The project contributed 1.9 million USD to Digital Transformation impact in the first year and 3.3 million USD in the second year of implementation.

    3. Predictive Maintenance Scaled Up Project
    Continuing the success of the Predictive Maintenance Project piloted in one refinery unit, the board of directors and the ministry of state-owned enterprises encouraged Pertamina to run the scale-up project to the other four refinery units with a budget of almost 2 million USD. Adopting the pilot project, I ran this project with a waterfall approach and used commercial off-the-shelf software.

    Data Analyst (SAP Procurement Data Reporting)

    As a data analyst for SAP Procurement Data Reporting, I provided transaction data in the procurement context in Pertamina Holding and Subsidiaries. I created monthly reports of procurement trends, provided some suggestions, and supported the procurement process that complies with the policy. Besides the routine job, I was involved in the ERP migration project to migrate previous procurement data to be tracked historically. For five months I worked as a data analyst I created the Robotic Process Automation to support the procurement transaction process in an ERP system to reduce the work duration to 20%, data accuracy, and compliance.

    Business Analyst (Upstream Relationship Management Analyst)

    As a business analyst for the upstream sector, I liaised with stakeholders from the senior level to the end users in the upstream businesses sector in Pertamina affiliates and subsidiaries. I had responsibilities to define and validate business requirements and deliver solutions for 11 Pertamina subsidiaries to analyze business problems and opportunities from the perspective of Information Technology. I also had responsibility for change management of the project I handled. Most of the projects are for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / SAP projects that run centrally at the enterprise level, and some other parts were non-ERP systems integrated into the ERP system.
    The most prestigious project I managed was ERP Migration Project in Pertamina Algeria when Pertamina Acquired Conoco Phillips’ assets in Algeria. The others were similar projects in Indonesia when Pertamina got the right to manage the oil and gas block.
    I delivered business cases from stakeholder requirements and performed prioritization, interviews, and balance scorecards to build the planning for the project timeline. I created the change management plan, stakeholder mapping, and communication plan for the change management purpose. Based on the list, I started to conduct user stories, brainstorming, and focus group discussions creating stakeholder requirements and business cases. Then, collaborating with the IT Solution team, I made the solution requirements. Before the solution was accepted and launched, I created User Acceptance Test documents based on the scenario stated in the business cases and user training with the user manual provided.
