Business Development Specialist
As a business development specialist, I oversaw a staff of 20 people. It was my responsibility to ensure that the business was running on day-to-day basis and that customer satisfaction was met. Further to this, I was also in charge of all the marketing aspects of business. To meet the projected goals for the business, I created an effective infrastructure for the business that allowed it to become financially profitable.
Achievements and responsibilities:
• On a yearly basis, I created a custom business plan in order increase sales and reduce costs. I would gather the qualitative and quantitative data on the business and adjust the business accordingly. As a result, the business saw an increase of more than 50% of customers per year and saw a substantial decrease of overheads to the business.
• The menu was formally not working well with customers and there was a high amount of wastage, which result in loss of profit to the business. Given this situation, I developed an action plan based on the yearly data collected on what the customers’ needs and preferences were. As a result of the action plan I had developed, the business saw an increase in profits of 20%.
• In its early days, the business was not performing as well as expected and as a result, I independently created a tailored online marketing plan for the business which provided it with a strong online presence. Today, the business has a following of more than 15,000 followers across Facebook and Instagram and has been named as one of the best Latin American restaurants in Sydney according to TripAdvisor, Yelp, Buzzfeed and AGFG.
• Successfully managed 500- 750K budget and successfully achieved the project scheduled goals.

My responsibilities ranged from contributing to the state’s planned infrastructure projects to assisting independent entrepreneurs that acquired stated owned micro-credits to allow them to establish small to medium enterprises. My work included preparing intensive conceptual design projects that were required to meet a high level of quality and environmental standards. As a result, my studies aided in the rehabilitation of formerly degraded ecosystems of a small municipality, and the urban regeneration of Maracaibo.
Achievements:
· I collaborated with a specialized team of industrial engineers to research and identify possibilities for the creation of a multi-million-dollar infrastructure center that aided in the urban regeneration of Maracaibo and provided local athletes access to rehabilitation and support services.
· Researched and prepared a detailed report that identified potential impacts of human activities on the ecosystem. The studies I’ve conducted were imperative in establishing the necessary guidelines and suggestions for restoring and rehabilitating a local river.
· I was the youngest project manager allocated for a major process optimization project for a leading petroleum company (PDVSA). As project manager, I conducted intensive statistical studies and interviews that identified the issues that were causing delays in the company’s production processes and affecting the wellbeing of the company’s workers.Responsibilities:
