Involved in whole cycle of coal mine design, from conceptual design, cost estimate to detailed design and construction support.

Structural Engineer

Have completed technically challenging installation projects in Australia. My roles include designing installation methodologies & temporary steel structure for the installation of various heavy & large structures in unique ways:
+ installation of the 120t roof skylight at Westfield Chermside (Brisbane) in a single piece of 3 arches, by pulling & skidding method using Enerpac push & pull system.
+ lifting frame for safe removal & re-installation of the 20t scoreboard at Gold Coast Carrara stadium before and after Commonwealth Games 2018
+ installation of the 56t & 90m long antenna spire on top of 1 William St tower (Brisbane), using customised spreader beam and support clamp near the spire bottom.
+ designed propping and spreader beam for the Westfield Chermside (Brisbane) vehicle ramp precast panels.
+ installation of 4 x 13t & 22m long steel columns of the temporary steel core supporting the existing facade of the Wynyard Shell House (Sydney) using engineered cruciform lifting frame and Enerpac jacking system. The lifting frame was also designed to act as the jacking frame to adjust position of the columns within the bored pile holes.
+ installation of various other steel structures of the Wynyard Place project including: temporary props for facade supporting truss, movable steel frame to install up to SWL 2t, etc.

My other roles include preparation of temporary steel fabrication AutoCAD, sourcing of fabricators & cost, supporting site supervisors to review installation work method, as well as to prepare cost estimates for job tenders.
