Project/Site Engineer
• Budget control for the scope of works.
• Prepare cost control management plan for manpower, machinery and material according to the project schedule and allocated budget.
• Assist on the preparation of EOT claims and ensure the quantities of the variation order in relation to schedule of prices.
• Undertake appropriate checking and verification using internal auditing and quality control checking to ensure that all designs and construction are developed to appropriate standards in accordance with the requirements of all relevant authorities.
• Manage a team of 3 Site Engineers and site supervisors under the supervision of Senior Project Manager
• Conduct site investigation and field testing before and after ground improvement
• Perform in-situ/laboratory soil testing (logging & report preparation) for soil investigation (Standard Penetration Test, Shear vane, Mackintosh probe test (similar to Scala)).
• Collect varies soil samples and aggregate samples with engineer’s representatives and send to the lab for testing.
• Conduct Nuclear Densometer test on layer compacted soil (to client handover) and on subgrades.
• Effective data management with Excel and other software (soil test results and instrumentation data). • Liaise and coordinate with clients, engineer representatives, sub-contractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare risk assessments and oversee site activities to ensure safe work procedures are followed.
• Prepare and monitoring Earthworks schedule, Soil balance report and manage overall earthwork operations.
• Instrumentation installation, monitoring and interpretation such as piezometer, extensometer, inclinometer, water standpipe and settlement markers.
• Lead the instrumentation team and provide technical support for installation and monitoring. • Prepare progress reports and conduct weekly / monthly progress meeting.
• Report writing, submission and document controlling (RFA, RFI, NFI, Non-Conformance Reports, shop/as-built drawings). -

• Supervise the pile foundation works and arrange for necessary tests (PDA, PIT) and inspections.
• Conduct onsite quality checking (slump) and cube samples.
• Monitor and record the progress of pile foundation and other activities and report to Project Manager.

• Surveying and setting out using Levelling instrument and theodolite.

• Assist with Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare Sub-contractor’s bill & progress claims.
• Attend weekly/monthly progress meeting and site meeting with Consultants.
• Undertaking and supervising technical site surveys.
