    Student Internship Programme (SIP) for my Interior Architecture and Design course in Temasek Polytechnic. During my time interning at Andy Fisher Workshop (AFW), I gained first-hand experience on how the Architecture and Interior Design Industry works. Job responsibilities include doing Technical Drawings (doing the drawing lists, drawing typical plans, sections, elevations, and construction detailing), Hard Finishes (HF) Specification List, Ironmongery (HW) List, Material Selection, FF&E Presentation Slides, Bathroom & Powder Room Presentation Slides, Swimming Pool Rendering (using Photoshop) & Presentation Slides. Additionally, I honed my communication and persuasion skills by interacting with clients.

    During my time at Crown Coffee, I had the opportunity to work with passionate colleagues that taught me a lot about the importance of customer service. Interacting with customers helped me to hone my patience through responding to complaints and questions, resolving issues where possible and referring customers to managers as needed. Additionally, I learnt to use various selling techniques to suggest additional purchases and upsell to customers as well as using my communication skills to juggle multiple tasks at once.

    Responsibilities Include:
    1. Serving customers their food and beverages, greet customers who enter the business and answer phone calls from customers
    2. Food preparation and assisting the kitchen
    3. Process cash and credit card payments using cash registers and digital systems
    4. Keep work areas, such as food preparation areas, and customer areas clean and organised
    5. Stock work and customer areas with needed supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning supplies, and notify management when inventory levels begin to run low

    Reasons for Leaving:
    Helped out due to the lack of staff, returned to school once Year 2 Semester 2 starts.
