Project Coordinator/Structural Engineer

• Be involved in multiple projects concurrently, requests for information, change management, quality control, quantity take-offs, attending design meetings and trade meetings.
• Communicate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as needed to ensure project success.
• Help prepare project status reports to architect, general contractor and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation database (Procore) including contracts, change orders, RFI’s and other project-related materials.
• Sending out inspection reports and noting deficiencies to appropriate trades.
• Review projects in the field to ensure compliance with the approved design.
• Ensure field reviews are undertaken in keeping with applicable codes and current practices.

Structural Engineer

• Interpreting detailed structural drawings in preparation for approval drawings of assorted detailed engiennering metalwork.
• Producing high level detailed shop drawings for complete fabrication for the production floor staff and for site installation
• Coordinating and carrying out site specific site measures and surveys in order to complete required shop drawings.
• Liaising and coordinating works related to the fabrication schedule with head production staff.
• Delivery and tracking of structural analysis (including preparation of relevant documentation) liaising with all relevant clients as required.

BIM/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The design of a 3-story house, in an exclusive area in Mexico, including high-end finishes and house facilities including gardens, terrace with jacuzzi and dining areas.
• Use software like AutoCAD, Enscape, and Revit to draft construction engineering plans for a construction issue, transferring drafts, and completing the structural and architectural design.
• Perform assessments of potential cost-saving improvement and implement changes as appropriate, using software like Unity Reflect and Unity 3D.
• Complete and maintain proper documentation to reflect changes and updates regarding the project.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 3 operators, optimising teamwork and productivity.
• Monitor performance of shift production targets and take appropriate action to maintain production requirements to achieve goals.
• Liaise with the Project Manager to develop and implement plans to deliver production targets.
• Facilitate daily pre-start meetings to ensure adequate supervision for work crews.
• Work to the client’s schedule and complete the scope under time without injuries or incidents.
• Identify and report outstanding payments to subcontractors by checking the daily work reports.
• Check daily work documentation such as timesheets for completion for up to 15 contractor jobs. Achievements:

• Designed a 3-storey house from AutoCAD with an Architectural distribution to Revit, where all finishes and structural facets were designed and made it available in VR/AR allowing it to be view in a 1:1 scale.

Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Participated in the construction of The CERESO expansion and Moctezuma electrical substation in Mexico.
• Planned and prepared construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
• Used Autodesk software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to ensure the correct construction according to engineering IFC, transfer drafts, and interpret structural and architectural complex blueprints.
