Geotechnical Engineering Consultant

Based on my performance and contributions as a consultant, I was selected to provide leadership and direction for a team of engineers on various projects, including tailings, mine waste, and heap leach assignments. I am responsible for end-to-end project management, including developing plans, quality assurance, project reporting, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, I work hands-on with project engineers on QA tasks, including field investigations, site/material characterization, and deformation analysis to support facility designs.

Staff Engineer

Initially hired as a consultant, I was charged with conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure that safety of all projects. I proactively identified risks and created mitigation strategies to overcome all obstacles and ensure project success. To support project goals, I presented to and communication regularly with clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns as needed.

Geotechnical Engineer II

After working as an integral part of the team as a Geotechnical Engineer I, I was promoted and tasked with supporting several multimillion-dollar projects. Some of my responsibilities were preparing calculations, performing feasibility studies, creating design specifications, designing foundations and structures, and conducting geotechnical investigations. Based on my industry expertise, I was also selected as Ground Control MSHA Trainer for all new staff.

I was promoted to the role to help lead multimillion-dollar projects, ensuring on-time and within budget completion. I was responsible for interfacing with stakeholders and working cross-functionally to ensure the seamless delivery of projects.
